The brand new hymelick.com, complete with new name and new look! We are moving, soon to be uponstratford.com. With some help from Lindsay, we finally came up with a new domain name. Hopefully the new site will be easier to use and more streamlined to be all family news, all the time! Look forward to the announcement that says that uponstratford.com is up and ready to go!

A Day with Jack and Alex

Today I didn’t have to work so I spent the day with Willa and Jack, who were also caring for a friend’s child, Alex. We went to the Botanic Garden to meet mom for lunch, and then back to Willa’s for some scooter-riding and sidewalk painting. Here are some of the day’s highlights, in pictures:

This is one of our absolute favorite images of Lindsay, sitting alongside Mae the lounge singer in West Palm Beach, Florida. The whole family gathered there in January of 2000 to celebrate Great Grandma’s 90th birthday. Mae was the entertainment.

Last Days of Summer?

So, I guess today is the last day of summer, though I’m sure the weather will disagree. However, in honor of it, here are some pictures of Jack this morning, with a grape popsicle that he also used to create a beard, mustaches and – apparantly – nose tattoo with. And while we’re on Jack, here are also some pictures of him using his unicycle the other day while I was baby-sitting for him.
